Born and raised in South Carolina and an audiologist for over 31 years, Dr. Kelly Long brings a wealth of experience to The Hearing Clinic. She earned her doctorate in audiology from the Arizona School of Health Sciences, a master’s degree in audiology from the University of South Carolina, and a bachelor of arts in communication disorders from Columbia College. Dr. Long has served as president of the South Carolina Academy of Audiology and was appointed to the South Carolina department of labor, licensing, and regulation — serving on the speech pathology and audiology board. She has worked in ENT offices, private practices, and provided services to our military personnel at McEntire Air Force Base.
Dr. Long loves connecting with patients and working together with them to improve their quality of life. She lives in Blacksburg with her husband, daughters, four dogs, and a patient cat. She is happiest when enjoying local festivals and the Blacksburg Farmers Market with her family.
